SUMMARY:District Council meeting
DESCRIPTION:The District Council serves as the administrative governing bod
 y of the District\, operating with powers delegated to the District counci
 l by the Board of Directors of Toastmasters International.\n\nThe meeting 
 will be held in hybrid format during the District Conference.\n\nThis is t
 he Annual Business Meeting and includes voting on various matters pertaini
 ng to the District and election of District Leaders for the 2026-2027 term
 .\n\nMembers of the District Council include the Club President and Club V
 P Education of each active member club\, plus Division Directors\, Area Di
 rectors\, District Director\, Program Quality Director\, Club Growth Direc
 tor\, PR Manager\, Administration Manager\, Finance Manager and the Immedi
 ate Past District Director.\n\nEither club officer may carry the club's tw
 o (2) votes\, or each may carry one (1) vote\, as determined by the club m
 embership. A representative from any Member Club in good standing is entit
 led to a maximum of two (2) votes.\n\nA Toastmaster belonging to two (2) o
 r more clubs may cast one (1) vote for each club but is limited to a maxim
 um of two votes\, regardless of the number of clubs they serve.\n\nDistric
 t Council members must be registered with Toastmasters International for t
 he office they hold at least 7 days (2nd May 2026) prior to the meeting.\n
 \nDistrict Executive Committee members are entitled to one (1) vote and ma
 y cast up to two (2) additional votes as a representative(s) of a Member C
 lub if they are in the roles of either Club President or VP Education.\n\n
 Members of the District Council must register in advance in order to be re
 cognised to vote. Whether you are attending in-person or online\, you must
