On Sunday, 28th January 2024, the President of Toastmasters International, Morag Mathieson, joined the District 71 team to share her perspective on growing as a leader.

International President Morag Mathieson shared a wide range of tips, including:

• Seek feedback from others on your leadership strengths and areas for improvement. Listening to how others perceive you is important for self-awareness and growing effectively.
• Look for opportunities to lead outside your comfort zone. Stepping into new roles, even if uncertain at first, can help expand your skills and perspectives
• Develop your communication abilities through practice. Improving how you share ideas and information with others is fundamental to strong leadership
