Evaluation Masterclass Series – Delivered by Bob Ferguson DTM
Herts Speakers Club has planned a series of masterclasses where you can learn the skills of evaluation. This trilogy of workshops has tremendous value to anyone who is required to listen, appraise, and give valuable feedback to someone – in a manner that is fair, honest, respectful, supportive, and ultimately inspires the listener to go on to do better and greater things.
Each masterclass is designed to build upon the previous one, and the presentation has been created as an in-person event. However, it will also be available on-line.
The first workshop will be delivered on Monday 9th October 2023
Overview: The key factor in every speaker improving is high quality evaluation. It helps the speaker grow, the club grow, but equally it helps the evaluator grow. What’s the best way to learn, develop and implement the skills of excellent evaluation?
Entitled – Why Excellent Evaluation is a powerful skill, you will learn:
- The mindset of an excellent evaluator – learn to focus on adding the best value to the speaker and for yourself.
- The benefits of excellent evaluation – why evaluation is so important for everyone in the club and how it becomes an equally important skill in the workplace.
- How evaluation is the key to great speaking for the evaluator too.
Where to start – how to go about building the skills that will become a natural part of your ability to help others.
The venue: The WESTFIELD ROOMS, Birchwood Leisure Centre, Longmead, Hatfield AL10 0AN.
Time : 7.40 pm to 9.40 pm.
