Nicholas joined Toastmasters in 2019 and he has loved it ever since performing a variety of roles from Vice President Education, Vice president PR and Club President for Powdermills Toastmasters Ballincollig Ireland. Toastmasters has allowed Nicholas to grow and develop his skills as well as providing an outlet for personal growth.

Nicholas is married with 2 children and works in surgical sales full time. Undoubtedly Toastmasters helped in the development of the wedding speech in 2020 as well as for professional presentations and events. In fact there is no aspect of my life that hasn’t benefited from being a member of Toastmasters


How I have benefited from my Toastmasters experience
Joining Toastmasters was one of the best things I have ever done. I had just moved to a new area and knew no one locally and didn't have any activities outside of work or family. Toastmasters was ideal as you get to meet a wide array of individuals while still focusing on your personal and professional development.

What most excites me about my District role
Just seeing what all the different clubs have to offer. Each club is unique and has their own culture within Toastmasters so it can be an eye opener.

What I would say to someone considering a Toastmasters leadership position is....
Just do it, put your hand up and go for it as it is a fantastic opportunity for growth and development.
