Main responsibilities

  1. Meeting Governance: Ensure District meetings adhere to parliamentary procedure, facilitating orderly discussions, decision-making and efficient progress. Collaborate with District leadership to develop effective meeting agendas that ensure key business items are addressed and time is managed efficiently
  2. Training: Provide training to District officers and members on the effective use of parliamentary procedure and meeting standards
  3. Rule Interpretation: Provide expert guidance on Toastmasters International rules, policies, and bylaws, offering clarity to District leaders and members
  4. Administrative Procedures Review: Regularly review and assess District administrative procedures  for accuracy, relevance, and compliance, recommending amendments as needed
  5. Election and Voting Procedures: Oversee the election and decision-making processes, ensuring they are conducted fairly, transparently and in accordance with Toastmasters International guidelines.  Assist in verifying the eligibility and qualifications of members of the District’s decision-making bodies
  6. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other District officers, supporting the achievement of District goals and fostering a culture of professionalism
