We introduced a new role at the start of the year – Awardsmaster. The role holder identifies a member who has made a memorable contribution at each meeting – a phrase, an act or simply stepping up to the plate with a last minute speech.
Tracy reprised her speech entitled “A Toastmaster Wedding” which she will repeat at the Area Contest at Liverpool on 21 Feb – a reason to attend all by itself.
And our Awardsmaster Stuart came prepared with a small gift to recognise the achievement – which our VPPR Wayne turned into a TM branded graphic for social sharing.
Success on many levels – member recognition, TM publicity and an exemplar of what makes our club a special place to be.
