The Alignment Committee considers a plan for the assignment of clubs to Areas and Divisions in the most effective way possible and in accordance with the Toastmasters International requirements.
The Aspiring DTMs group supports those who are committed to earning a Distinguished Toastmaster award, the highest level of individual achievement in the Toastmasters education program.
Members of the District Audit Committee are responsible for reviewing and substantiating whether District funds have been spent in accordance with the mission and governing documents of Toastmasters International.
The Club Officer Training and Support equips club officers with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead their clubs effectively
The Conference 2026 team is responsible for planning and executing the District conference that will be held in Tralee, Ireland
The Conference Advisory Commitee ensures effective and sustainable District conferences by developing best practices for conference proposals and the management of the annual District conference
The Contests Excellence team ensures high-quality speech contests and recognises achievements across the District
The Corporate Connect team brings together people from the District's corporate and organisational clubs in order to network, learn together and share best practice.
The District Executive Committee ensures that the District and its leaders are working towards achieving the District Mission.
The District Leadership Committee (DLC) evaluates all candidates for District elected roles and nominates the best candidate(s) for election at the annual District Council Meeting (DCM).
The District Leadership Team (DLT) is responsible for day-to-day management of the District's activities, under powers delegated by the District Executive Committee and District Council.
The Educational Programs team promotes the effective use of educational programs and resources to help members achieve their personal and professional goals. The aim is to help members understand benefit from the wide range of educational opportunities that Toastmasters offers
The Events Team supports the District in running events by developing standardised processes and offering online support.
The Parliamentary team supports District leaders in running effective meetings of the District Executive Committee and District Council. The team also provides expertise and training in the use of parliamentary procedure.
Pathways Champions serve our members and clubs by providing Pathways awareness and support
The District's Public Relations team, led by the District Public Relations Manager (PRM), focuses on enhancing the organization's image and attracting new members through strategic communication and media relations. They establish and maintain communication channels within the district and with the public, aiming to increase awareness of Toastmasters
The technology team supports the District in the effective use of technologies and associated processes
Delivering high-quality Sunday webinars featuring renowned Toastmasters and distinguished dignitaries from around the world, who enlighten us with their wisdom, experience, and excellence.
The District 71 Zoom Academy exists to train Toastmasters across the District in the effective use of Zoom for online & hybrid meetings and to develop, support and coordinate a team of Zoom Masters to facilitate high-quality, professionally run District events
