A Quiet Force in Division A – Celebrating Patricia Radley

Every Toastmasters club is fortunate to have people who quietly make everything better — the kind of people whose support, encouragement and steady presence help a club to grow and thrive. For many of us in Division A, Patricia Radley is exactly that person.

Since joining Cork Toastmasters in 2018, Patricia has given so much to Toastmasters, serving in roles including Club President. During her year as President in 2020/21, Cork Toastmasters achieved President’s Distinguished status — a wonderful achievement in what was a difficult and unusual online (due to COVID) year.

Patricia’s dedication has reached far beyond one club. Through her service as Assistant Area Director, Area Director for Area 23, and now Division A Director, she has supported members and clubs across the division with great generosity. She is especially known for her help with Club Officer Training, Pathways, club growth, and mentoring, always giving her time freely and offering guidance with patience and kindness.

Patricia is currently a member of Powdermills Toastmasters, where, as in every club she supports, she brings warmth, encouragement and a genuine sense of community.

What makes Patricia so special is the way she leads — never loudly, never for recognition, but always with heart. She notices where help is needed, she gives confidence to others, and she makes people feel welcome and valued. Because of Patricia, our clubs are not only stronger, but warmer, friendlier, and more connected.

Thank you, Patricia, for all you do as a club member in Powdermills, for Division A, and for Toastmasters as a whole. Your quiet dedication makes a lasting difference, and our community is richer because of you.
