Drogheda Toastmasters are delighted to announce their return this August 31st.
The club celebrated numerous milestones in late 2025/early 2026, from our Gala Event, celebrating our 25 years service to the communities of Drogheda and support of local speakers, to our strong contest participation and crowning of our Toastmaster of the Year, Aideen Walsh. Well done to everyone!
2025/2026 truly was a special year with many achievements and laughs throughout. We are especially proud of all of our new members who are progressing through pathways programmes currently and who have shared their Icebreaker speeches with us. It is truly incredible and encouraging to see so many new members step up to (and away from) the podium while giving their Icebreakers, with all giving strong and memorable speeches. We look forward to hearing the remainder of your level 1 speeches and level 2 speeches in 2026/2027.
We would also like to especially thank our outgoing president Mark Mealy for an incredible year. Mark’s dedication to the club president role was evident from the moment he put on the chains of office, always putting the growth and success of the club first and remained a consummate mentor throughout the year to all toastmasters and guests. We look forward to a stellar year ahead with our incoming president Yvonne Buckley!
Drogheda Toastmasters is looking forward to seeing all members returning later this month in the Boyne Valley Hotel at our slightly earlier start time of 7:45pm.
