How I have benefited from my Toastmasters experience
Toastmasters has been a hugely beneficial and empowering experience, both personally and professionally.
I have grown in confidence as a communicator. Where I once avoided public speaking, I now embrace it whether it’s a celebratory social speech to a small audience or a presentation to a large audience. I have also benefited in unexpected ways. I joined Toastmasters to become a more confident public speaker and ended up discovering a myriad of leadership opportunities, a global network and the opportunity for life-long learning.
The journey from nervous guest thirteen years ago to Distinguished Toastmaster and District Director has been a life-changing experience.
