DTM Champion
Summary
DTM Champions act as the local driving force for Distinguished Toastmaster development within each Division. They identify and encourage aspiring DTMs, helping them understand the path to achievement and connecting them with mentors, projects, and leadership opportunities that bring the journey to life.

Serving in this role provides an ideal opportunity to complete a Pathways High Performance Leadership (HPL) project or Distinguished Toastmaster project.
Main responsibilities

Identify members in clubs who aspire to the DTM award and provide clear guidance on the process

Conduct regular check-ins to monitor progress and offer encouragement

Facilitate peer-support groups or Division-level DTM forums

Liaise with the DTM Chair to share progress data and success stories

Promote awareness of DTM requirements at Division and Area events

Help match aspiring DTMs with appropriate mentors and project opportunities
