The District Council serves as the administrative governing body of the District, operating with powers delegated to the District council by the Board of Directors of Toastmasters International.

The meeting will be held in hybrid format during the District Conference.

This is the Annual Business Meeting and includes voting on various matters pertaining to the District and election of District Leaders for the 2026-2027 term.

Members of the District Council include the Club President and Club VP Education of each active member club, plus Division Directors, Area Directors, District Director, Program Quality Director, Club Growth Director, PR Manager, Administration Manager, Finance Manager and the Immediate Past District Director.

Either club officer may carry the club’s two (2) votes, or each may carry one (1) vote, as determined by the club membership. A representative from any Member Club in good standing is entitled to a maximum of two (2) votes.

A Toastmaster belonging to two (2) or more clubs may cast one (1) vote for each club but is limited to a maximum of two votes, regardless of the number of clubs they serve.

District Council members must be registered with Toastmasters International for the office they hold at least 7 days (2nd May 2026) prior to the meeting.

District Executive Committee members are entitled to one (1) vote and may cast up to two (2) additional votes as a representative(s) of a Member Club if they are in the roles of either Club President or VP Education.

Members of the District Council must register in advance in order to be recognised to vote. Whether you are attending in-person or online, you must complete the online registration form.
