How to subscribe to the District 71 events calendar

Never miss an important District 71 event. You can subscribe to our calendar and have all District meetings, training sessions, contests, conferences, and other key events automatically appear in your own calendar application. Note that some events are for specific groups and you will still need to register for any individual events that you wish to attend.

Calendar URL (iCal / ICS feed):

https://d71toastmasters.org/events.ics

Google Calendar

  1. Open Google Calendar.
  2. In the left-hand menu, click the + next to Other calendars.
  3. Select From URL.
  4. Paste the following address: https://d71toastmasters.org/events.ics
  5. Click Add calendar.

The District 71 calendar will now appear in your calendar list. Google Calendar will automatically refresh the events periodically.

Microsoft Outlook (Outlook.com)

  1. Open Outlook Calendar.
  2. Select Add calendar.
  3. Choose Subscribe from web.
  4. Paste the following address: https://d71toastmasters.org/events.ics
  5. Give the calendar a name (for example, District 71 Events).
  6. Click Import.

The calendar will be added to your Outlook account and will update automatically.

Microsoft Outlook (Desktop Application)

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Select File → Account Settings → Account Settings.
  3. Open the Internet Calendars tab.
  4. Click New.
  5. Paste the following address: https://d71toastmasters.org/events.ics
  6. Click Add and then OK.

The calendar will appear alongside your other calendars and will update automatically.

Apple Calendar (iPhone, iPad, and Mac)

iPhone / iPad

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Apps → Calendar → Calendar Accounts.
  3. Tap Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar.
  4. Enter: https://d71toastmasters.org/events.ics
  5. Tap Next and then Save.

Mac

  1. Open the Calendar app.
  2. Select File → New Calendar Subscription.
  3. Enter: https://d71toastmasters.org/events.ics
  4. Click Subscribe and choose your preferred refresh settings.

Important Notes

  • This is a subscription, not a one-time import.
  • New events and changes made by District 71 will automatically appear in your calendar.
  • Updates may take several hours to appear, depending on how frequently your calendar application refreshes subscribed calendars.
  • You can remove the subscription at any time without affecting your personal calendar entries.
