Toastmasters UK North & Ireland

Testimonials From Regional Advisor’s Visit

The question of how we grow our clubs, and even build new Toastmasters clubs doesn’t really matter to most of us, until suddenly it does. Perhaps it’s a calling? Perhaps it’s about being “voluntold”. Or maybe setting up a new club, isn’t all that different from the weekly commitments of being a committee member of your local club? It’s just a new audience. A community you haven’t met yet, and if you can show up week after week, then maybe that will inspire them to show up week after week.

The Committee of District 71 really showed up for this event. They invited us to explore the question of club growth, both individually and collectively. And while it seems like it’s a big question at first, it’s no different from the question of how to write an inspiring speech. It’s a question about where you need to place your finite time and energy to make the biggest possible connection with your audienceRobert
