DTM Mentors are experienced Distinguished Toastmasters who share their wisdom to help others achieve the same distinction. They provide personalised guidance, encouragement and accountability, ensuring that each aspiring DTM feels supported and inspired from the first step to final submission.

Serving in this role provides an ideal opportunity to complete a Pathways High Performance Leadership (HPL) project or Distinguished Toastmaster project. The Pathways Mentor Program can also contribute to your success in this role.
Main responsibilities

Provide one-to-one mentoring to aspiring DTMs on project planning, leadership assignments, and advanced Pathways projects

Encourage reflection on learning and help overcome obstacles

Model the Toastmasters values of Integrity, Respect, Service and Excellence

Coordinate with the Division’s DTM Champion to track progress and identify development needs

Celebrate milestones and reinforce commitment to lifelong learning and leadership
