Summary
The DTM Chair leads the District 71 Distinguished Toastmaster support program, which is a community dedicated to helping members reach the pinnacle of the Toastmasters educational journey. The Chair creates a structured yet inspiring environment where aspiring DTMs connect with mentors, plan projects, and celebrate milestones on their path to excellence.

Main responsibilities

Design and coordinate the annual programme of DTM support activities, ensuring alignment with District goals

Recruit, brief, and support Division-level DTM Champions and Mentors

Maintain an up-to-date register of aspiring DTMs and track their progress toward award requirements

Organise District-wide workshops and events, and celebrate leadership achievements

Collaborate with the Program Quality Director to ensure DTM activities complement the broader leadership-development strategy

Prepare regular progress reports and success stories for District communications
