This training will give you the opportunity to lead in your club with greater understanding and ability.

The highlight of the morning will be a presentation from Lilian Shaftacola, Region 10 Advisor. We are privileged to have Lilian join us, and she will conduct a workshop on cultivating leaders and succession planning, entitled “Succession Planning — How to effectively prepare the ground for success.”. As the end of the programme year approaches and putting our successors in place looms large in our thinking, this is highly topical.

Other segments of the programme will include:

Eureka! — Group discussion on the Toastmaster’s journey
Moderated by Paul O’Mahony, Co-Presenter of Irish Talkers

Quality club meetings — Enhancing learning through creative meeting agendas
Neil D’souza, VPE, Dublin South Toastmasters

A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step — A guest’s journey to Toastmasters
Kevin O’Reilly Division F Director and District Lead Management Chair.

Spotlight on the Solihull conference
Conference Team

Your participation in this COT session will allow you to learn from others’ experience, contribute from your own experience, and of course play your part in recognition of your club’s excellence through the Distinguished Club Programme.

Come to think of it, why don’t you come along just for the experience, even if your club doesn’t need the credit! We look forward to meeting you on Saturday 22nd.
