What is the District conference?
It’s an amazing event where members of our District get together to learn new skills, see our incredible speech contest finals, elect our District leaders, meet friends (old and new), and celebrate. It is a major highlight of the Toastmasters program year.

When is the conference?
The conference will be held between the 8th and 10th of May 2026,

Where is the conference?
It will be held at The Rose Hotel in Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland.  Tralee, and Co. Kerry, are internationally renowned for their welcome, attractions and facilities for visitors. The Rose Hotel offers fully accessible facilities and bedrooms and free car parking.

Was Tralee always the location for the 2026 conference?
No. Another location in the west of Ireland was initially announced but due to unforseen circumstances there was a need to change the location

How do I register?
There will be a number of ticket options available, so you can choose what works best for you. Ticket sales will begin in November.

Who can attend?
If you’re a Toastmaster, past Toastmaster or potential Toastmaster, you’re very welcome.

Where can I stay?
We have negotiated special rates with The Rose Hotel and have a guaranteed number of bedrooms for our conference attendees. Information on how to book will be provided when conference tickets go on sale.  Tralee is well known for its welcome and facilities for visitors, and there are a wide range of accommodation options

How do I get there?
The nearest airport is Kerry. Alternatives are Shannon, Cork or Dublin.  Tralee has a train station and frequent bus services.
The conference team will provide more detailed information about transport options when ticket sales start.

Will there be an online option?
The District Council meeting will be held in hybrid format to allow all club Presidents, Vice Presidents of Education and members of the District Executive Committee to make decisions about the future of the District.  All other events will be in-person only.
