What to do in September

    1. Attend District Officer Training: Solihull (13th September), Dublin (14th September) or Online (20th September)
      1. Remember to do your Pre-Work (see email)
    2. Help your club officers with the submission of their Club Success Plans. You can track progress here

    4. Plan and perform your area visits

 

Previous actions

By now you should have:

  1. Provided your profile information for the District website
  2. Introduced yourself to the clubs in your Area.  If you have been unable to contact one of them, please let your Division Director know urgently
  3. Attended or watched the District Leader Kick-Off meeting and provided feedback
  4. Attended or watched Leading your Council
  5. Attended or watched Area Director Visits and the Club Success Plan
  6. Familiarised yourself with the Club Leadership Handbook
  7. Completed your handover with the current Area Director
    1. Use this Area Director handover template.  It will help you make sure you have everything you need. You might find that the current Area Director does not have all these details, but it should help with the conversation. Use it to help you think through the information you will need for the year
    2. Use the Toastmasters Dashboards to obtain information about the clubs in your Area. If you are unfamiliar with the dashboards, this video gives guidance on how you can use these when preparing for conversations and visits to your clubs
  8. Sent your signed District Leader Agreement and Release Statement to the Administration Manager
