Zoom Masters support the District by delivering smooth, professional online events. You will be the technical host behind our training sessions, webinars and meetings, ensuring everything runs reliably and that presenters can focus on their content. Your expertise will help create a seamless online experience for club officers, District leaders and members across the UK and Ireland.

Main responsibilities
• Manage the technical setup for online events: schedule meetings or webinars as required, apply waiting room and security settings, configure recording and assign co-hosts
• Serve as the live technical host: start the meeting, welcome presenters, check audio/video quality, assist with screen sharing, control spotlighting, and manage transitions between speakers
• Oversee participant management: admit attendees, rename participants where needed, moderate chat, manage reactions, and support accessibility considerations
• Troubleshoot issues in real time: respond quickly to audio, video or connection problems and assist presenters or participants to get back on track
• Coordinate with event leads: work closely with the presenters, trainers and facilitators to understand agenda flow, timing, breakout room requirements and any special technical needs
• Manage breakout rooms: create, open and close breakout rooms as required, assign participants and support smooth movement between sessions
• Ensure recording management: start/stop recording, save chat logs where appropriate, and follow District guidance on storing and sharing recordings
• Support brand consistency: ensure events present a professional, supportive environment, aligned with Toastmasters’ brand values of integrity, respect, service and excellence
• Contribute to continuous improvement: share feedback with the broader Zoom team and District leaders, identify recurring issues and help refine District procedures for online events
