The Conference Advisory Commitee ensures effective and sustainable District conferences by developing best practices for conference proposals and the management of the annual District conferenceDescription
Duties of this committee include:
- Define the procedure by which members of the District can express an interest in running a future District conference
- Provide guidance on the preparation of future conference proposals
- Manage the process of assessing future conference proposals and the selection of winning bids
- Provide guidance to individual annual conference committees on best practices, Toastmasters International requirements and District expectations
- Manage a “lessons learned” process after every District conference to ensure future improvements
- Maintain records of conference finances, packages, ticket sales and programmes to help plan future conferences
Members of the committee include past District Conference Directors and those experienced in the running of District conferences.
