Rose Conference Update

The Rose Conference Continues to Bloom

You will not be surprised to know that the work for the Rose Conference continues apace.

First we sold over 100 tickets before our Valentines Day Golden Ticket Draw which was won by Anita Howard.

This could not have gone to a more deserving winner as Anita is a regular Conference attendee as well as being an award-winning poet and co-facilitator of the District Open Mic evenings.

Second, we have the result of your votes for the Theme for Friday Fancy Dress which will be “Flowers of May”

It is great to see so many members from around the District getting involved with Conference, not only in buying tickets but also in contributing and participating in our Social Media Campaigns telling us of their personal experiences and memories – we intend to give them even more in Tralee in May.

In our latest initative, We are excited to launch a humorous/creative writing competition for all those with a knack for storytelling.

The Theme is simple.  Fun anecdotes, caricatures, comic strip, or any light-hearted tales. Make us laugh, Make us smile in 150 words or less

Let us have your entries by 16th March, just before St.Patricks Day

The winning entries will be featured in the conference brochure and could even be shared on social media!

Send your entries to theroseconference2026@gmail.com. Please, include the word THE FUNNIES in the email subject line.

There is still time for Clubs and Corporate Sponsorship opportunities again email us at theroseconference2026@gmail.com and we get right back to you.

Please keep up to date with the many initatives and announcements on www.theroseconference2026.com and on our and the District Social Media pages on Facebook and Linkedin

Our Conference Ambassadors Linda and Katuta are available to your clubs to promote the many advantages to your colleagues attending

Looking forward to seeing you in Tralee in May

Kindest Regards

James
